Having strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential to being a successful entrepreneur. Moreover, having an attention to detail is also important as you are making major decisions frequently and cannot afford to make mistakes due to carelessness. I had the added benefit of gaining a business education in addition to my JD, so I would recommend that students interested in entrepreneurship read books or take online courses in entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance.
